Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art | Las Vegas, Nevada | September 2016 – April 2017

Oversaw all exhibition marketing, special events and retail for Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art (BGFA). Led creative development for MGM Resorts Art & Culture branding for its launch at Art Basel in Miami Beach and into Hong Kong. Accomplishments included: 

  • Organized Museum Day in November 2016 with highest single-day attendance in BGFA history; Created and executed targeted outreach to announce event using public relations, property marketing, corporate advertising and employee communications teams
  • Developed marketing plan used to launch MGM Resorts Art & Culture; Designed branding creative used in Art Basel Show Guide in Miami Beach (December 2016) and as cover of brochure for Art Basel in Hong Kong (March 2017)
  • Coordinated 200-person brunch co-hosted with Public Art Fund at Art Basel in Miami Beach (December 2016)
  • Wrote copy and spearheaded design direction for all email blasts, website, brochures and other collateral for both BGFA and MGM Resorts Art & Culture
  • Collaborated with public relations team to schedule media visits and interviews to increase art gallery and corporate art program coverage and worked closely with social media team to curate content on par with other art programs and institutions Increased BGFA retail sales by more than 30 percent over prior exhibition. Responsible for all retail buying, shop design and merchandising. Monitored stock levels and product performance to identify current and future opportunities, maximizing sales and the customer experience
  • Generated art gallery revenue by renting gallery space to corporate clients for private events; Supervised all special events, working closely with Bellagio’s catering and event teams
  • Designed and produced presentations for MGM Resorts executive leadership to use internationally
  • Managed team of seven for private events, retail and other initiatives and implemented team appreciation efforts 

MGM Resorts International | Las Vegas, Nevada | September 2014 – September 2016

Managed all Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art (BGFA) and casino marketing initiatives as well as assisted with hotel and food and beverage marketing. Oversaw more than 150 projects simultaneously from providing initial creative direction through to job completion. Responsibilities and achievements included: 

  • Spearheaded entire BGFA marketing campaign for each exhibition roll out including all media placements, filming, animations, audio guide recordings and more than 100 pieces of collateral and signage
  • Wrote complete marketing plans and creative briefs (BGFA campaigns, slot marketing strategy)
  • Managed all casino initiatives including the entire email campaign (2–3 sends per week) and all printed pieces and signage
  • for approximately 25 events per year
  • Produced more than 12 high-end tournament direct mail invites per year with budgets of up to $50K from initial design
  • concepts through to approval and mail drop, ensuring completion on budget including materials, printing and postage
  • Led design and creation of 24-page high-end quarterly slot marketing newsletter (Playing in Style) from initial job request and
  • concepts through to approval, production and mail drop
  • Coordinated filming at slot tournaments, conducted interviews with the slot marketing team and guests and produced various
  • animations with the footage
  • Executed high-fashion photo shoots for Via Bellagio print ads twice per year
  • Wrote copy for Playing in Style, email blasts and other collateral and marketing materials
  • Prepared agenda and led casino marketing advertising meeting weekly
  • Supervised two brand marketing coordinators and managed their workloads and training
  • Acted as liaison between and provided direction and recommendations to clients and our advertising agency, creative team and media representatives 

MGM Resorts International | Las Vegas, Nevada | October 2012 – September 2014

Managed more than 130 projects simultaneously from providing initial creative direction through to job completion, including: 

  • Led the 2014 hotel summer letter mailing (April) which grossed more than $500K
  • Managed the entire hotel email campaign generating approximately $700K per month in room revenue
  • Oversaw Bellagio's $1.2M traditional branding media placements
  • Supervised new campaign rollouts (BGFA Painting Women exhibition in February 2014)
  • Regularly initiated and executed a large number of recurring jobs (in-room newsletters, collateral for monthly Art and Wine
  • and Culinary Classroom events, holiday menus and more) without waiting for property to request
  • Wrote copy for bi-monthly in-room newsletters, hotel email blasts and other marketing collateral
  • Updated status reports and conducted weekly meetings with clients on property to discuss current and upcoming projects
  • Trained new coordinators (ARIA, Mandalay Bay and Vdara) on job processes and procedures
  • Acted as liaison between clients and our advertising agency and media representatives
  • Assisted on other property advertising teams as needed (ARIA from July – August 2014)

Best Buddies International | Las Vegas, Nevada | January 2010 – May 2010

  • Increased number of Facebook fans by more than 600 percent from January to May
  • Designed email blasts covering events that received twice the average response rate
  • Designed the Best Buddies blog and email blasts using HTML, CSS and Photoshop interfaces
  • Researched current social media trends and applied them to the social media plan as needed
  • Maintained and updated all social media sites including Facebook and Twitter daily
  • Assisted with event planning and execution of Friendship Walk (March 2010)
